The season is changing, so your upkeep habits should change to match. Here are 4 tips on how to get your home ready for the fall selling season.
Today I’m here to give you some tips on how to get your home ready for the fall selling season.
1. Keep your lawn in shape. Just because the summer is over, it doesn’t mean you should forget about your lawn. Take care of any brown patches in the yard, and rake frequently to keep fallen leaves at bay.
2. Get a fall garden. As the colors of summer start to fade, replace them with colorful mums and other vibrant fall plants to keep your yard looking beautiful.
3. Repair your exterior lights. It’s a good idea to make sure that buyers who may come to look at your home later in the day, as the sun starts to set earlier, have plenty of light to see their way to the front door, as well to be able to see the house on all four sides.
4. Update your exterior photos. If you photographed your home in the summer, be sure to have those updated in order to prevent your home from seeming out of date to buyers who search through your photos online.
Following these tips will set you on your way to being successful during the fall selling season. If you have any questions regarding this topic or other real estate subjects, please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to help you!
